An online estimate produced from drawings alone misses everything that matters about the actual site. Access, drainage, existing fabric, finish standards — none of it is visible from a PDF. The estimate that comes out is sometimes close, often badly off, and almost never holdable as a quote.

We don’t price projects we haven’t walked. The hour or two spent on site is the cheapest accuracy you can buy in domestic estimating.

If you’ve been quoted from drawings only and the number looks suspiciously low, get a second opinion before committing.
