Lessons from the Whitchurch Methodist Church conversion

admin

The Whitchurch Methodist Church project required site visits with a fully broken-down and specified take-off document. The client lived outside the UK, so finish preferences had to be gauged via email — supported by image links and option summaries to keep the spec clear and the pricing accurate at an early stage.

The lesson that stuck: clarity in the documentation is even more important when the client can’t walk the site. The take-off needed to read like a brief, not just a spreadsheet.

The same principles apply on most overseas-client projects we’ve since taken on.
