Site visits — While some jobs can be priced solely from plans, real accuracy needs a site visit to fully understand how to price a project. These visits cover things like site access, waste removal, existing drainage runs, wall thicknesses, finish clarifications with the client, and so on. Take-offs from tender packs — We review tender packs, raise design queries, send out subcontractor packages, source quotes from specialist suppliers, and undertake clear, broken-down take-offs tailored to your requirements. Take-offs from site visits — Not all projects require plans and full design services. For smaller jobs we can meet the client and draw down specifications — ideal for permitted developments, kitchens, bathrooms and similar projects that may not need specialist designers. Specification & schedules of work — We can undertake full design services on behalf of the builder. This is particularly useful on refurbishment projects, as it forms the basis of the contract with the client and provides a clear representation of the works to be completed. Cost-plan documents — We provide documents and spreadsheets that make valuations, invoicing and variation tracking straightforward. Our system has been refined to work for the client while maintaining efficient cash flow for you as the builder or contractor. Variations — On top of this we can provide variation support, either over the phone or via site visits.
